Rural Innovation is run by Rob Hindle.
Rob is a leading rural development expert and policy adviser. He founded Rural Innovation in response to the Foot & Mouth outbreak in 2001 and has subsequently helped a wide range of rural stakeholders maximise the value they derive from their investment in land, property and communities.

Rob focus is on adding value to rural businesses, property and places. An experienced and innovative consultant Rob helps his clients achieve their rural development objectives through research, advise, coaching and practical delivery.

Rob is passionate about the potential for sustainable rural growth. He has a deep interest in sustainable communities and rural economies. He is passionate about the countryside as a place to live and work and believes it is vital that local people play a role in planning the future shape of their communities and neighbourhoods.

Ivan Annibal is an experienced rural practitioner and local government officer. Ivan combines roles as a public policy consultant (Rose Regeneration Ltd) and Assistant Director of Lincolnshire County Council.
Michael Lough is an experienced rural marketing and communications professional with specific expertise in rural tourism, event management, local food and engagement between the public and private sector. Michael also delivers high level web development and digital media solutions through his consultancy Blue Wren Ltd. 
Alison McLean is an experienced rural practitioner. A former Commissioner of the Countryside Agency and Commission for Rural Communities, Alison is current vice chair of the West Midlands Rural Affairs Forum and was awarded an OBE for services to rural regeneration in the 2010 New Years Honours list.
James Shorten is a rural geographer and planner. Formerly a senior associate with Land Use Consultants James now operates as a sole practitioner (c4g) from his base on the North Devon coast.
Jo Lavis is a rural housing specialist. Formerly heading up rural affordable housing policy work with Defra, the Countryside Agency and the Commission for Rural Communities she now operates as an independent consultant (Rural Housing Solutions).
Brian Wilson is an experienced public policy professional. Formerly a Director of the Countryside Agency and Commission for Rural Communities, Brian now operates as an independent consultant trading as Brian Wilson Associates.
